What We're Looking For
Safety Netting Rigger Experience
Previous experience installing Safety Netting systems is highly desirable, with a good understanding of safe installation practices.
CSCS Qualified
A valid CSCS card is required to demonstrate the necessary construction knowledge and site safety awareness.
IPAF Qualified
IPAF certification is preferred, or you must be willing to complete the required training to safely operate MEWPs.
Comfortable Working at Height
You must be confident working at height and understand the importance of following safe working practices at all times.
Willing to Travel & Work Away
Our projects are located across the UK, so you must be prepared to travel and work away from home when required.
What is SAFETY NETTING?
Safety netting is a collective fall protection system designed to protect workers from falls when working at height. Safety nets are installed beneath working areas, such as roofs and steel frames, to reduce the distance and potential impact of a fall.
At Safe Edge, our operatives install safety netting systems across a wide range of construction projects, helping to provide a safer working environment for everyone working at height.
What Does a Safety Net Rigger Do?
As a Safety Netting Installer, you'll be responsible for installing, adapting, inspecting and dismantling safety netting systems on construction sites across the UK.

The role can involve:
Installing safety nets beneath roofs and working areas
Install safety netting beneath roof structures and working areas to provide collective fall protection for workers at height.
Working at Height
Carry out installations safely at height while following company procedures, RAMS and site requirements at all times.
Inspecting Safety Net Installations
Inspect completed installations to ensure nets are secure, correctly positioned and suitable for the working environment.
Overnetting & Debris Netting
Carry out specialist overnetting and debris netting installations where additional protection is required on construction projects.
Travelling Across the UK
Travel to construction sites across the UK, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and locations, including working away from home when required.
